Welcome back to a new semester full of new opportunities. We hope you enjoyed your summer and had the chance to escape the heat. Businesses are taking further steps to become more sustainable, launching initiatives and creating sustainability teams, and we want to make students aware of such opportunities in our community.

Arizona Recycling Coalition (AzRC) Opportunities

AzRC Scholarship
The Arizona Recycling Coalition awards an annual scholarship to develop new leaders for the recycling and sustainability industries. AzRC will award up to three $2,500 scholarships to students enrolled full-time in a public or private Arizona college or university in an environmental sustainability field of study. Apply here.

AzRC Conference Scholarship
The Arizona Recycling Coalition sponsors students to attend the annual AzRC conference on October 18, 2018. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from and network with Arizona recycling industry professionals. Apply here.

AzRC Grant
The Arizona Recycling Coalition awards an annual grant to develop new recycling initiatives that significantly improve the recovery of recyclables at schools, nonprofit organizations, local governments and tribal nations. AZRC will award up to two (2) $5,000 grant this year. Apply here.

GEM Environmental Scholarship
G.E.M. Environmental is a scientific charity based out of Prescott, AZ. G.E.M. is offering a number of scholarships for STEM undergraduate students in the state of Arizona. View scholarships at

Green Living Magazine Internship

Coca-Cola Dear Future Challenge Grant
Swire Coca-Cola is offering 17 grants of $30,000 each to students that want to change their communities for the better. Information about the challenge can be found here.
