The second cohort using the framework to develop programs catered to working adults includes the Colorado Community College System, Maricopa (Arizona) Community Colleges, Bunker Hill Community College in Boston and the Community Colleges of Philadelphia. 

Taxes from the sale of recreational cannabis during the first year of legality in Arizona resulted in millions of dollars for local community colleges, officials said Tuesday.

The Maricopa County Community College District recently received nearly $500,000 to fund the development and implementation of a student technology suite.

Higher education in Arizona will become more accessible in 2023 after the passing of a recent bill that now allows community colleges to offer baccalaureate degrees, a shift that will “benefit the community at large,” according to Matt Hasson, Maricopa Community Colleges District Office’s (MCCD) chief communications officer.
