Maricopa Community Colleges Chancellor Maria Harper-Marinick, Ph.D. will be the keynote speaker for the 2018 Arizona Women in Higher Education (AWHE) Conference on May 31 and June 1, 2018, where she will encourage and address female educators across the state.

The theme, ‘Transcending Barriers: Embracing Opportunities for Change,’ allows attendees to navigate the changing landscape of higher education. Additional keynote speakers include Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor of Pima Community College Dolores Duran-Cerda, Ph.D. and Interim President and CEO of Expect More Arizona Erin Hart. All together, guests will learn from one another, discuss critical issues impacting their work and life, expand their professional skills, and network with new and established colleagues.

The two-day conference will be held at the High Country Conference Center in Flagstaff, Arizona. Surrounded by refreshing Ponderosa Pine forests, this is a fantastic space to gather, learn, and network.

We are encouraging all interested parties, especially female educators, to attend this conference. For more information about registration, workshop proposals, schedules, and accommodation, please visit the AWHE website.
