Integration of Subaru-U curriculum enhances learning and career opportunities.
This Spring 2018, Mesa Community College (MCC) students interested in becoming an automotive technician or currently enrolled in the Automotive Performance Technology program will gain access to a unique opportunity in a collaboration with Subaru. MCC will begin an integration of Subaru web-based trainings into existing curriculum and hands-on learning with vehicles provided by the automaker.
Subaru of America developed Subaru-U in response to the increasing need for new technicians at their service centers. This partnership with MCC provides students with access to most of the entry-level training that is required of Subaru technicians and the option of taking a Subaru Level 2 Instructor-Lead Training Test-Out to advance their skills.
Subaru’s trainings are offered at no additional charge to the college or students.
