TEMPE, Arizona – The 68th woman to be so named, Dr. Harper-Marinick joins fellow influential women leaders, including Arizona Governor Rose Mofford, United States Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, and Phoenix Mayor Margaret Hance.
“I am filled with gratitude for this recognition,” said Harper-Marinick. Selected by a committee of past honorees and community leaders, recipients have actively contributed to Valley Leadership’s mission to enhance the ability of leaders to serve and strengthen the community.
Announced on Nov. 3, Harper-Marinick and fellow recipient David Tierney, a Phoenix construction attorney, were formally recognized at the awards luncheon, an event that has attracted more than 1,000 prominent business and community leaders.
